Overthinking Will Kill You is the debut album by Bassist/Singer/songwriter, Ben Adey, better known by his musical nom de plume 'Royalty Capes'

Combining an ear for infectious melodies and ability to produce Funk, Soul and groove infused wonderlands, the result is a set of glittering alternative anthems bathed in pop's incandescent glow.

On the recording of the album Adey says..

"There was no action plan, just a mass of voice memos, beatboxed drum beats sent via WhatsApp and an urgency to put them all together in the most creative and fun environment possible."

Recorded at Bakerland Studios, Leeds in 2022 and engineered by Tim Scott, the album also features some killer players such as; Jordan Rose (Theo Katzman, Cory Wong) on Drums, Malcolm Strachan & Atholl Ransome of The Haggis Horns and Leeds based songwriter KONL.
